Everton have launched an ‘official’ bid for Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic.

The 26-year-old Croatia international has been regarded as a success since his 2010 move from Rapid Vienna, scoring 30 goals in 45 games for the Scottish side. His goal scoring prowess has reportedly promoted Toffees manager David Moyes to make a move for his services.

The 6ft 2″ forward would bring Champions League experience and hopefully the firepower that Everton have lacked this season.
