Everton in Onuoha link

Everton will make a loan move for Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha, according to reports.

It is thought that the out-of-favour 24-year-old would prefer to remain in the north-west with Everton manager David Moyes supposedly interested in taking the former England under-21 international to Goodison Park.

Onuoha made 31 Premier League appearances for Sunderland during a season-long loan last season, but it is likely that Manchester City will only allow the player to leave on a permanent basis this time around.

What are your thoughts on this potential move for Onuoha? Would he be a good signing? Do we need another central defender? Would funds be better spent elsewhere? Leave your comments below or in the forum.

  1. any signing would be good. Im no fan of loan signings but we are desperate at this stage. Tho we could do with an attacking player more so
