Championship side Leicester City are reportedly preparing a £3m bid for Everton striker Victor Anichebe.

The powerful 23-year old has made over 100 appearances for the Blues, scoring 12 goals in the process. This has prompted big-spending Leicester City to devise a bid for the 6ft-3 Nigerian international.

Anichebe is regarded as surplus to requirements by many fans, however Everton manager David Moyes will be reluctant to sell, having described the number 28 as possessing “great strength, great pace and power”.
