FollowEverton can confirm Everton have signed 19 year-old youngster Apostolos Vellios from Greek side Iraklis Thessaloniki F.C.

The fee for the highly rated Greece u-19 international striker is believed to be £250,000, with Everton fending off serious competition from several teams including Fulham, Bologna and Olympiacos for the player’s signature.

Vellios has 4 goals in 22 games to his name in Super League Greece and 7 goals in 14 games for the youth international side.
