Charlie Adam? Vaughan out? Coleman to stay at Blackpool?
By Ryan G • Apr 29th, 2010 • Category: News |Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam is being linked with a move to Everton this summer.
The 24 year old midfielder, who has 4 caps for Scotland, is believed to have interested Everton manager David Moyes.
A fee of around £2m for the midfielder should be enough to secure the transfer, however, Blackpool would only sell if they could keep Seamus Coleman at Bloomfield road on a season-long loan next season.
The loan of Coleman would not be such a bad idea especially if Blackpool secure promotion to the Premier League. Seamus Coleman has been outstanding since he joined The Seasiders on loan but David Moyes will probably want to keep him at Everton next season, with the manager wanting him to sign a new contract. I would rather keep Coleman then sign Adam and lose Coleman for a year.
Elsewhere, Everton are believed to be trying to offload injury-prone striker James Vaughan, either on loan or on a permanent transfer for next season. Leicester City are keen to keep hold of his services.
