Everton have secured a work permit for Argentine playmaker Ever Banega and expect to complete a season long loan deal with Valencia in the next few days. Banega who plays a similar role to Mikel Arteta in the centre of the park will be a much needed addition with the Blues lacking Arteta’s spark for the next month or so. Banega played for Valencia in their Europa League tie on Thursday so will be unavailable for Everton in European competition. He should make his debut at home to Wigan next Sunday. Meanwhile David Moyes has rubbished reports that Everton are interested in signing Russian winger Vladimir Bystrov.
