Reports in the media today suggest Everton are to sign Arsenal reject Philippe Senderos with Swiss sources this afternoon claiming that the deal is already done. However there has been no indication over the fee or whether this is a loan. This has also led to speculation that the deal for Senderos means Joleon Lescott is on his way out. Yet in conflicting reports it is rumoured that Man City are set to make a final take it or leave it offer of £22m with Everton wanting at least £30m, suggesting that Lescott’s going nowhere. Clearly some of these reports are lies and we expect developments within the next few days.
