Ticket points system launched

Everton have launched a new ticketing points system to erase the issues that troubled the club with distributing FA Cup Semi-Final tickets last season. The system allocates customers points for going to see a match. The number of points awarded is determined by a number of factors such as the attractiveness of the opposition, whether the game is on TV, the kick-off time, the importance of the fixture etc….. Home games are awarded 5-25 points whilst away games are fixed at 5 points. Evertonia membership earns you 10 points whilst Season tickets holders and Executive members earn 200 points with Half-Season ticket holders earning 90-100 points.

CEO Robert Elstone said “This new scheme we believe is as transparent as we can be. We all know that throughout a season demand will be high for certain matches and by allocating specific points it will allow us to reward those supporters with the most loyalty. Our Season Ticket numbers to-date already suggests there is a real appetite to come to watch Everton and we are anticipating increased demand for a number of matches in the coming season. I do hope the scheme demonstrates that we do listen to our supporters and try to make the necessary improvements needed in order for there to be an open and honest way of conducting our business. We listened to fans’ frustrations on a number of occasions last term and the ticket loyalty points is just one way we have decided to address those frustrations.

Everton will hope that system is needed with another Wembley date this 09/10 season.
