Manchester United have today defeated Tottenham Hotspur in the Carling Cup Final 4-1 on penalties after a 0-0 draw. This means that 6th place will gain entry to the inaugural Europa League for next season. With Everton 8 points clear of West Ham in 7th, surely another European tour is on the horizon.
