Lita – a real target?

Apparently, out-of-favour Leroy Lita has been given a get out clause of 350k by Reading manager Steve Coppell.

The Englishman would probably request low wages and accept being a bit-part player just to return to the Premier League.

For those of you wondering why he’s been offered this clause, it’s due to an apparent fall out with Coppell who therefore now no longer want him in his first team plans.

He is definately worth a punt in my opinion and at 350k could be one of the signings of the season if he manages to net in excess of 5 goals. Not only that, but his price would rocket if we were to want to then offload him in the summer.

A bidding war may be nescessary though as Newcastle appear to also be interested in securing the Englishman’s services.
