Suazo on the horizon? Our analysis…
By Ryan G • Dec 26th, 2008 • Category: Fan Articles, News |Reports are linking Everton with a move to Inter Milan striker David Suazo – who is currently on loan at Benfica till the end of the season.
The reports suggest a ‘bidding war’ is to spark during the Summer close season – with Aston Villa, Newcaslte and Everton fighting out for the 29 year old’s signature.
What good is this because Everton are in need of a striker now – as Everton should have all 4 of their main strikers back – including Yakubu – before the start of next season, well should anyway. Surely we’ll be getting a striker in January if we are to get one at all.
Sauzo is a 29 years old 5ft 11″ Honduras international. Some stats about his career below:
Olimpia Cagliari Internazionale Benfica (loan) |
255 appearances 40 goals 27 appearances 8 goals 7 appearances 4 goals |
10 appearances, 4 goals
Well we just can’t see this happening, and you can just see why above with his goal scoring record and age, 40 goals in 255 appearances…

Good point, his goalscoring record isn’t the best (40 goals in 255 apperances 😆) but surely he must have something to sign for Milan? Does he have pace or skill, I think Love is more likely because he’s small and quick.
