Podolski on Everton radar?

After the long term losses of Yakubu and Vaughan, and the indefinite sideline-ing of Saha, many rumours have been upon Everton lips about who Moyes will invest in in the January transfer window.

The Scot said himself last week that it was going to be highly unlikely that he would invest in any players in the January transfer window, just down to lack of funds. Now, with only one fully fit striker to chose from, it is apparent he needs a signing as soon as that window opens on the 1st of January.

A striker that has been linked with Everton is Lukas Podolski. Very out of favour at Bayern at the moment, he is young and would seriously benefit from a loan move just to gain experience. A quick, enthusiastic Andy Johnson-esqe striker, he could be a real find (only down-side, he is German!). No concrete evidence from either parties as of yet, but watch this space.

Others that have been inked include the experienced Henrik Larsson, and the unproven Premier League striker David Nugent.
