Sporting Lisbon striker Rodrigo Tiui believes Joao Moutinho is right to follow his ambition to join Everton.

Tiui says Moutinho is a great player and a great person, as well as being an excellent professional. Tiui also believes Moutinho is very committed to his training. Moutinho has been captain of Sporting for the past few years which shows the player has leadership qualities that gives Moutinho potential to be a future Everton captain.

“He is a great player and a great person. If he leaves it will be very sad, but we leave this matter to the board. we know that they’ll treat him the right way.” Rodrigo said.
