Valencia winger Joaquin Sanchez says he’s more then happy to stay and play at the Mestalla next season.

The 26 year old was left out of the Spain squad for Euro 2008 because of poor performances for Valencia who struggled in La Liga last season.

“There is interest from several teams who want to know my future, but they must talk to my agent Juan Sanchez,”

“I will just say that I feel very good here and I hope to stay for many years.

“I have always said that is my first choice because Valencia made a big investment to sign me and I owe a lot to this club.

Evertonians will still hope that a move can happen, (I do!) and maybe a double swoop for Fernandes and Joaquin? Who knows….
