Evertonians hoping to watch Andrie Arshavin will have to wait as the attacker is suspended for Russia’s first two games against Spain and Greece on the 10th and 14th June respectively.

With no British representative or Everton player playing in the Euro 2008 competition, Evertonians will be watching the championships scouting for talent or keeping tabs on players that the club have been linked with – Arshavin is one of those.

Evertonians will be able to watch Arshavin against Sweden on the 18th June, with another player Everton had been linked with – Kallstrom, on show for Sweden.
