Part two of our transfer roundup so far, in this part we look at Everton’s recent activity in the transfer market and the rumours that are flying around.

Everton have put in a £5m bid for Cardiff midfielder Ramsay. The 17 year old Welsh international has impressed a number of top flight clubs including Everton with manager David Moyes coming in for the young star with a £5m bid. Manchester United and Chelsea have also put bids of around £5m in, and it is suggested that Liverpool have matched the rival clubs’ offers.

Middlesbrough have made contact with Heerenveen for midfielder Michael Bradley. The USA international scored goals in Holland for fun last season and Everton manager David Moyes has been watching him for weeks. Middlesbrough are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements and ‘Boro manager Gareth Southgate sees Bradley as his ideal centre midfielder for next season. It is thought that ‘Boro will be willing to pay £4m Euros (£3.1million) for the 20 year old, who only has a year left on his contract. Everton still apparently lead the race to sign Bradley though…

Scot Mcdonald is the next player to be linked with Everton, FollowEverton.com talked about the possibilities of the player linking up with Tim Cahill at Goodison next season on our old website last month, and now the Mcdonald talk has been brought up again. Everton are apparently putting in a £2m bid for the striker, who scored 31 goals last season.

   Excellent article, Ryan, if thats you.

   From what I first saw of Bradley against England he looked rather lackluster and terribly poor work ethic, well it was the end of season last game and he was a defensive position but I thought that was his position. And do first thoughts count? 😉

   Ramsay would be a massive coup with the others interested, but with apparently only £20m to spend splashing £5m on a 17 year old could prove out to be really amazing or terrible waste of money.

   Lets hope we’ve got a 40m+ budget. Arshavin, Joaquin, Bradley, Ramsay, Fernandes loan, Hesseney.

   And to answere your question, Ramsay. 😆

   Seen Scott McDonald quite a bit this season, he is cetainly a poacher, would do well in the prem IMO
