Everton in Chile’s president Antonio Bloise says he wants his team to play the English Everton in the Vina del Mar Cup to celebrate their 100th anniversary.

Everton in Chile came back from a 2-0 defeat ts Colo Colo in the first leg by beating the Caciques 3-0 in the second leg to win the title for the forth time

“We want them to come this summer (Everton would be in their winter),” Bloise told Chilean newspaper La Tercera.

“We’ll try to set as many negotiations as possible.”

The club say they are also considering a new line of merchandise to celebrate the event, including a special kit.

   I’m currently wondering what that cup is and when the game would be played because the seasons are different.

   I think it sounds like a great idea and would hopefully be similar to the asian tournement Pourtsmouth and Liverpool took part in last year?
