Everton’s young defender Nathan Patterson has suffered an injury on international duty for Scotland.

The youngster has had a blistering start to the Everton season, in a defence which has kept back to back clean sheets and been one of the strongest in the league.

The Scot, playing in what many deem a “pointless national league friendly” was stretchered off and it is thought he has suffered medial ligament injury.
