Everton Planning For ‘Sensational’ Moise Kean Return Despite Bidding War?

Everton striker Moise Kean has been tipped to make a sensational return to Everton next season – although the Italian is very much in demand throughout Europe.

After failing to make an impact in his initial season with the Toffees, the 20-year-old Italy international was loaned out to French champions Paris Saint Germain.

And it at the French giants where the forward has excelled, with 14 goals already this season. His success has been so much so that PSG are keen to sign the talented youngster on a permanent deal.

Italian clubs including Juventus and Milan are also in the race for his signature, which could result in a bidding war.

It is reported that Carlo Ancelotti remains a huge admirer and would love him to return next season as a key player, given his potential and proven goalscoring ability this term. If that’s not possible, a significant transfer fee with millions of pounds in bonuses is a sensible deal that would allow Everton to make further recruitment.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping across the globe and decimating football finances, Everton are expected to demand in excess of £50m for the striker. This figure would likely price PSG out of a move if Everton stand firm — and ensure Ancelotti retains his man for next season. Player power, however, may force Everton’s hand and reduce asking price should he wish to leave.

In our opinion Moise Kean has been more effective in France due to the calibre of players he has been playing with – and playing against. A slower, less physical league with more space has been a comfortable stomping ground. It’s also hard to see him wanting to return to Everton after playing in the Champions League with the likes of Neymar, even if Everton do reach the Europa League.
