Joleon Lescott trained on his own today and was left out of Everton’s squad to face Sigma Olomouc in the Europa League play-off round on Thursday. Manager David Moyes said Lescott’s attitude had been poor and he had let the team down
“I’m not including Joleon Lescott in the squad. His attitude in the past few days has been poor and for that reason I won’t include him. I’ve always thought he was a good lad. But I think he has not only let himself down but his teammates too.”

Lescott will now surely join Manchester City in the coming days and Everton will need to get a replacement in with only one fit centre-back left at the club, Richard Dunne could be included in a player plus cash deal with City.
