Fellaini – We understood yesterday that a deal was agreed however either with seemingly no progress today that was either untrue or Everton or United are trying to renegotiate. Everton want at least £25m. We have also heard that United rebuffed a proposal of £18m plus Hernandez

Baines – Nothing to report, he’s training with England and we don’t expect anything to happen, however if United make a big enough bid that could change

McCarthy – Sky claim this deal does not hinge on Fellaini though we do not believe this to be the case, we’re still haggling over the price

Fernando – Majority of reports say he’s not coming, this was probably a smokescreen to move the McCarthy deal along. However previously VERY reliable source says it will happen. Unsure.

Barry – Everton want a loan, City want a permanent, even if they agree to the loan they will have to subsidise at least half his wages which is a problem

Anichebe – Looks to be heading to West Brom for £5m. Everton have a replacement lined up, don’t know who. Would assume Anichebe won’t be allowed to leave unless that player is signed. We presume Hernandez coming would of seen Anichebe go. We’re looking at Lukaku on loan now that they have Eto, Torres & Ba.
