New Everton Badge?

Photographs of a ‘new Everton badge’ have emerged.

Whilst at first glance many may believe the badge is fake, it seems the club have actually registered one style of the above badge as a trademark (http://www.ipo.gov.uk/types/tm/t-os/t-tmj/tm-journals/2013-015/UK00002656323.html).

The club have taken liberties to protect the use the trademark across many different areas, however its final use remains to be seen. Could this be the new Everton badge? Perhaps Nike and Everton discussed a re-designed badge to keep the club in sync with Nike’s ‘forward thinking’ and modern style of kits.

  1. It looks a bit bland. Ive felt for some time Everton should reclaim the Liver bird which we used many many years ago before the other lot claimed it. We are the first club of the City of Liverpool and we should go with the bird.

  2. The badge does indeed look bland/shite, altough at least Rupert’s Tower looks more accurate! Perhaps the bird could be mixed up with the tower (possibly stumbling out of it drunk?)
