Everton will complete the signing of Leroy Fer this week.

The Toffees have agreed a fee of around £8.5m with FC Twente for the Dutch international’s services.

David Moyes has been monitoring the box-to-box midfield player for years, with FollowEverton.com first linking Everton with the 23-year-old way back in July 2010.

And after ‘watching this space’ for the duration, Moyes will finally get his long-term target, having switched his attentions after losing out on French international M’Vila.

The manager is looking to add further additions to his squad.
