Everton in for Seb Larrson?

Our sources are suggesting Everton could make a move for out-of-contract midfielder Sebastian Larsson. The right winger is available having recently left relegated Birmingham City. However, the Toffees are facing competition from fellow Premier League clubs Arsenal, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Sunderland as the race for the Swedish international hots up.

Everton boss David Moyes will likely have little money to spend, unless he sells one of his key players, with the likes of Jack Rodwell and Leighton Baines being linked with moves up the M62 to the red and blue halves of Manchester. This means Moyes will once again be trying to unearth another bargain either from the lower leagues or free transfers such as Larsson.

A winger is thought to be high on Moyes priority list having lost Steven Pienaar to Spurs in January and not replaced him, although he will also be keen to add to his forward line with Yakubu seemingly having played his last game for the blues.
