Manchester City vs Everton Premier League, Saturday 13th December, 3.00pm, City of Manchester Stadium

Form Guide:
Everton travel the short distance to The City Of Manchester Stadium boasting an impressive away record with 5 wins from 8. Their last away game was a 1-0 victory at White Hart Lane with Pienaar netting the winner. Everton’s last game against City was the 2-0 victory back in Feburary, with Lescott and Yakubu bagging the vital goals. The latter won’t be available for this game or any other game this season after rupturing his Achilles Tendon at White Hart Lane. Louis Saha and James Vaughan are also out with Vaughan being out until the new year. Victor Anichebe has been confirmed as a doubt and will face a late fitness test as will Leon Osman. This would leave Moyes with a crisis upfront and he may have to revert to putting Tim Cahill upfront with Pienaar behind him and Van Der Meyde on the wing.

Man City haven’t lived up to expectations this season and are currently 14th in the table with 18 points. Such is the tightness of the league this season a win could move them up 5 places. Their home record has been mixed with 4 wins and 4 losses. Robinho has impressed having scored 9 goals in 16 appearances. He is a doubt for the game having sustained an ankle injury a few weeks ago. He hasn’t trained in 2 weeks.

Team News
Everton have doubts over Victor Anichebe and Leon Osman for the game and Louis Saha will definitely be out with a hamstring strain. With no fit first team striker David Moyes may have to play Tim Cahill upfront with Steven Pienaar behind him.

Man City have doubts over Micah Richards, Javier Garrido, Gelson Fernandes and Daniel Sturridge. Robinho hasn’t trained in a few weeks and is unlikely to be fit to start.
