Tottenham vs Everton White Hart Lane Sunday 30th November 15:00pm

Tottenham and Everton go into Sundays game having endured a slow start to the season but a vast improvement in recent weeks. The man to improve Spurs: Harry Redknapp, and the man to keep Everton afloat: Marouane Fellaini, arguably, well he did score a few vital goals for us recently. Harry Redknapp left a strong Portsmouth team with a good strong base to join a rocky Tottenham and he has been so far successful in his quest for success. 9 games into his Spurs career and his record stands as won 7 drawn 1 lost 1. They have won the last 5 at home and their last defeat was on 5th October when high-flying Hull visited White Hart Lane. A great start for him.

Everton have reached form in the last few weeks although there was a slip up at the JJB on monday night losing to Wigan 1-0. Quite a lot of players are off form with the likes of Joleon Lescott, Mikel Arteta, Yakubu and Tim Cahill all not reaching their expectations this term. One plus side is that Everton have a respectable away record winning 4 drawing 1 and losing 2. The record at White Hart Lane is very good in the last 2 years with a 2-0 win and a 3-1 win last season. The Blues will be hoping for a similar result but most would be happy with a draw.

Team News

Everton have a striking crisis for Sundays game with Victor Anichebe and Louis Saha injury doubts along with James Vaughan being out until the new year. Yakubu may be the only fit striker which will make David Moyes revert to 4-5-1. Nuno Valente is out with a knee injury and Tony Hibbert is also out with a thigh strain.

Tottenham hope to have Ledley King and Jermaine Jenas back to play Everton. King had been suffering from a knee injury and Jenas suffering a toe injury. Alan Hutton may be out for 5 months after fracturing a foot. Gareth Bale is off form so may be dropped.

FollowEverton Prediction:

Tottenham 2-2 Everton- Tottenham have hit great form under Harry Redknapp and have won the last 5 at home. It should be an open game with plenty of chances and goals. We go with a 2-2 draw but Tottenham have to be favourites if there is to be a winner. We’ve been known to sneak 1-0’ers though…
