hmmm, cant wait to have the luxury of having Distin in the back 4 again at the weekend, never thought Id say that.

Heitinga would seem like the best CB in the world after tonight.

By the way, whats with this Wilbur thing? Laughing

Why dont you just keep the same avatar? I mean Its easier to recognise someone if your used to it, and its like a symbol of that person - if that makes sense?

Ive only ever changed mine twice. On the old FFE I had a Wales badge as my avatar, Ive always had the pirate sheep on FE.

There aren't too many substantial changes we could have made to the line up but the team was well under the level they had been playing at.

Maybe it's just been too big a run of games for us, god knows what else could excuse that piss poor performance.

That's because Yobo can't pass the ball under 40 yards, and in fairness, I wouldn't pass the ball in case Phil Neville got it.

RE: What Moyes should of done from the start IMo
Absolutely shocked at some of the comments on this thread.

Neville - as poor as he may be (ability wise)! - has given us an option at right-back, centre-back and defensive-midfield. Now I have to ask you..apart from Jagielka and Heitinga (only this season) which other player could provide us that "luxury"?

We lose to Sporting away and suddenly everyone jumps onto the Neville bangwagon? I thought it was meant to be a f***ing team game eh? The entire team I thought was shite and Howard was probably the only lad who came away with any credit. Did anyone give Pip credit for leading the team that beat Chelsea and United in consecutive weeks?

Who else would you play there? With Hibbert injured, Coleman is the obvious choice but Moyes wants to preserve him like he did with Rooney (and if you can't see that then you can forget saying that you even understand football!)

Moyes mentioned this exactly after the United game. He asked for the Everton fans to "stay grounded"..Sporting Lisbon have been a decent European side for a number of years now and the reason we got beat is because of the 2-1 deficit. The inexperience from Rodwell cost us the away goal which made it that much easier for them. They went into the game knowing one goal at home could have got them through were as it would have been a completely different game without that away goal. I won't directly blame it on young Rodders but he has to realise that his mistake dent our chances of going through smoothly.
