The problem for me that as a player hes not good enough so shouldnt be in the team for that reason, I would have Cahill as Captain personally.

Surely that is Round and Moyes? Explain how Neville does this?

The Captain reflects the manager normally, so Neville would be Moyes' voice on the pitch i.e reminding each player of their jobs during the game or having a go if any of em slack etc etc you know normal captain duties

So he hasnt been doing his job in the 1st few games then or does it only work when were playing well?

Well probably not, im not saying Neville should be in the team, because I think you should pick your best 11 players and then pick your captain round them, but what im saying is that Moyes has probably kept him in because he feels he is a good captain and has a good influence on the players around him.

As I previously said I think someone like Cahill should be Captain or perhaps even Howard.

God you are a Tit at times! Are you genuinely saying Pip is not a good captian? Not a model Pro ? Does not give his all? Is not a good advert for the club?

The captain does not have to be the best player at the club. He has to be professional and give his all and lead by example.

When he came to the club I hated the C**t and could not understand why now I am totally repentent Phil Neville has my apologies and its nothing to do with ability its to do with attitude and respect.
Does Phil not do this? Name a better captain!

Korean meatballs.........really are the dogs bollox

RE: heitinga
What's a model pro? Is that someone who can't pass, tackle or position himself on the pitch? Then Neville IS a model pro, the example he sets is that if you play consistently sh*t you still get selected for Everton a la Osman, Hibbert and Yobo. John Terry & Steven G*rrard lead by example, they are good captains.

Religion and the belief in God makes people stupid.
