SSig_agreed

Be a bit more realistic about him MM,he's livin' off bein a utd cast-off. I spent a good while scratchin' me head wonderin why Moyes gave him a FOUR YEAR contractDoh He can't pass, and for me,he thinks that 'cos he was a shite player in a good side, that it somehow makes him an "authority" at our place. Well imo he isn't,he's just another player, and not that good a player neither. We should have sold him to the skunks when they were after him a few seasons ago.

A manc bein' captain of our club is sacrilege imo. Remove the armband from him and give it to Cahill NOW!!!!
I think that sums out the point - a manc being captain of the club isn't liked by people and they use any excuse to have a go

RE: heitinga
So he wasn't a shite player in a decent side? That makes him an automatic choice when fit? He can pass, can he?

I've still not forgiven him for that penalty against Romania.Cursing

RE: heitinga
I don't give a crap where he comes from, Manchester or Timbuktu it's all the same to me, my problem with him is he's just a bad player.

Religion and the belief in God makes people stupid.

RE: heitinga
his passing is adquate - in fact round february last year he was statisticall the beat crosser in the premiership. His defensive skills and positioning are very good as rb and as dm. Who would you have played there last year instead of him?

I could possibly give you 'off' the pitch, as i dont know and to be neither do you but on the pitch, your having a f**king laugh. What example does he set, pointing, lack of tackling, sh*t passing, all round poor play? He is a disgrace as a capt on the pitch
Can we all clear something up, Neville is not a Manc so using that as an excuse for either arguement is just stupid

RE: heitinga
thats balls he's nowhere near as bad as he's made out to be and you just need to look at what every player who arrives at everton says about him - he's the one who spends time helping them settle with their team mates.

As i said i can maybe give you the off pitch bit as from the outside it does seem he does help but on the pitch he offers no example whatsoever

RE: heitinga
Well as they say there are lies, damn lies and statistics, when it comes to the likes of PTD you shouldn't really quote statistics as he's evidently, patently useless. If you think his passing is 'adequate' and think that's acceptable then you have lower standards than I, but I think not only is his passing inadequate, but his positioning, tackling etc. are sh*t.

Religion and the belief in God makes people stupid.

if you think his postioning and tackling are sh*t then its probably not worth continuing because you don't no crap about defensive midfielders. If you don't want to deal in facts well that kind of points towards you not making any rationally points anyway so its hardly worth arguing about.
