Bolton buy Sean Davis on a free transfer. A player once on our radar I believe!? This annoys me because we need decent players like him to provide competition and more importantly shore up our numbers!!!

Also at 29 there was no point. He was at Tottenham for 2 year and played 15 Prem games. I think that says enough about him. Couldnt even get into the Tottenham team when there was players like Mendes in it.

but as i say hes a decent enough player and would be free (transfer fee free) we need the numbers it's stupid I don't know if Big Dave is aware of this but I think we are slowly getting an even smaller squad cos im sure we are selling/releasing more players than we buy in!!???

Just because a player is free doesent we should clog our wage bill up if he isnt good enough for our club then we shouldnt get him, quality over quantity every time.

We were linked with him when we were awful and we've moved past him. It would be like bringing Kilbane back.

He'd still have wages of around 20k plus a signing on fee, so it could still cost something like £1.5million for him over the course of a season, he's not worth it IMO.

I also think he rejected us the second time we went in for him.

he's a decent enough player in cm but he would never be first choice. wouldn't have been upset to get him caouldn't care less that we didn't
