RE: Schwarzer to sign on a free transfer???
He's been good but we'd be taking a chance on putting him in the first team if Tim gets injured, especially in a Uefa Cup match. An experienced keeper is always a good option to have.

RE: Schwarzer to sign on a free transfer???
there is speculation going arounf that lehmann could be retiring from football completely - or there is the other rumours going around that he is returning to Germany to continue whats left of his career.
Davey moyes seems to like buying in keepers, so surely we have one in the rezzies. |

RE: Schwarzer to sign on a free transfer???
As far as i knew we still had Turner and Ruddy, but, as Lumbo said it's a big risk with inexperienced keeper. Remember being 2-0 at Man U and he dropped he ball, we ended up losing 3-2- ok 11 players responsible but that was a huge error that started our decline.
I don't like Lehman, not a bad keeper just don't like him as a person, can't really explain why neither?? Scwartzer would seem like a good idea to me. He wouldn't be on a huge wage and he's older but goalies seem to be great in their later years |

what about Readings keeper? Hannehman? hes quite a good keeper. I know hes not on a free, but Reading have gone down and Coppells future is unsure, so we might get him cheap.

Lehmann will go back to Germany, and spurs will sign Schwarzer. If not, sign up the ozzie for peanuts and put him on the bench-hes got quite a large arse, he could warm it well!

What about Cudicini? Surely he must be out of contract soon, or even bring him in on a loan and loan out the young 2 for another year
