having a billionaire owner ?
will it really buy you success?

man city, have spent millions in the transfer window yet they have lost three games out of six, knocked out the carling cup against brighton.

tottenham another club who spent shed loads of monies in the summer transfer window, languishing at the bottom of the premiership.

arsenal have not spent a great deal of monie's but are ranked as one of the sky4 lost 2 out of six games already,

aston villa lost and drawn games in the premiership knocked out the carling cup by Q P R, another club owned by billionaires.

so having a billionaire as owner seems to be the fashion in the premiership but is it the answer to all evertons problems, will it give us a quick fix like its done for united and chelsea or will it bring us mediocrity like tottenham and man city?

Good question mate, personally I would lean towards the opinion that a shedload of money could not do us any harm in the long run. Might not buy us success but would put us on the same footing as the other rich clubs at least. All depends on how much interference the investor(s) initiated and how the investment was used. With prices for players rocketing to stupid dimensions then if you don,t have the cash you are out of the market for decent players and lower divisions beckon IMO.

I’d agree with you, but then we’d both be wrong.
Its nice to be home.

With the exception of maybe Saha, has he got it right recently ? Its probably not his fault if the cash was not available. I go back to my previous statement, shedloads of money cannot be a bad thing.

I’d agree with you, but then we’d both be wrong.

no it can't dessy,

but you can't buy confidence its driven into you by the manager and coaches on the training ground,if the manager has not got his heart and soul into the job,the players can sense it and its taken onto the field ,
moyes has admitted it today his none signing of the contract has had a detrimental effect on the players.

RE: having a billionaire owner ?
Steve, i would have a billionaire owner at everton any day of the week, but as far as being an attraction we are not,the club is waiting on to many ifs
its like we are in limbo going nowhere fast,on the playing field we are spiraling
out of control into relegation oblivion with no signs of easing ,most fans on here have written us off for Thursday's Uefa cup second leg against liege.
