That letter was an utter disgrace and was party political, allowing him as a labour MP to have a dig at the Lib Dem council.

Why any MP would want a £60mil turnover business to leave, who's customers support other business' in the constiuency, is beyond me.

The letter smacked of a local Labour MP backing a potentially contentious Labour Govt decision - when it was aired last week.
Bradley appeared to think that way & responded as such. Although things appeared to have maybe changed yet again since.

IMO all of the politicians involved in this are self serving fools - Bradley & his mates talk in riddles - they've appeared to show interest & make the right noises, when in reality they've done F all since the KD scheme died. His recent suggestion of revisiting the shared stadium idea was as a prime example. His suggested "alternatives should the club find new investment", as he puts it, are total cobblers - it's like showing a bloke a new BMW when he's got barely enough money for a 2nd hand Skoda.

Kilfoyle is no better & his jibes at LCC in that letter were unseemly. However I did agree with him correcting the totally false statements made by LCC regarding the economic impact on Walton of our potential move - he was quite right to say that the impact will be minimal - because it will. Very little of our £50M club turnover stays in L4 - the matchday benefits that local traders receive in additon to that turnover - is small beer when compared to a £400M development in a neighbouring borough - so the regional benefit far outweighs the local loss.

The RS superdome & the development of associated food outlets etc that will come with it, will bring increased employment to the area anyway - as would a potential redevelopment of GP land - particularly if it incorporated a retail element.

I wish they'd just get the decision out there now - it's become a farce.
