Ground decision?
I was expecting this to be announced Monday or Tuesday and still not heard anything.
Does anyone have an idea when they expect the decision to be announced?

Dunno. Its needs sorting asap, I dont accept that a project, which will require us to contribute £78mil, wont have an effect on this summers budget.

The club need an answer so that we can start getting players in. Its now just over 3 weeks till the season and we need players bedded in before that point.

RE: Ground decision?
get the ale down you mate youll be laughin.

MC again mate never a truer word spoken, this is the most important issue we have ever known at everton in my life time , and there still arsing about , its gotta be done next week , we need players in next week the last thing we want is unfamiliar players trying to gel on the opening day of the season, we need to hit the ground running, a slow start to the season will only mean we will struggle all season with a mid table finish.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football...518857.stm the first part says

Everton face an anxious wait to see if the Government will "call in" plans for their proposed new stadium - a decision that could make or break the move.

BBC Sport understands the Department for Communities and Local Government will announce the ruling next week.

Everton fear an inquiry would put back the move for a year and kill off the controversial £400m scheme.

The proposal has been opposed by some Everton fans angered by a possible move outside Liverpool's city boundaries.
