RE: Everton VS West Brom Match Thread 1-9-12
He can shake thigngs up if he wants to eg

Howard
Neville Distin Jagielka Baines
Mirralas Ofoe Fellaini Olviedo
Pienaar
Jelavic

37% possession today shows an inability to hold the ball up and retain possession in midfield. We must beat Newcastle and win our home games this season as well as picking up draws away.

That's far from innovative, isn't it? That fecker shouldn't even be in this country, never mind anywhere near our club. Couldn't get any decent reception on the radio on me phone yesterday, but I'll bet he was shite once again. Havin read the ratings just now, that's as obvious as one of his soundbites.

God, but I detest that helmet. Both as a "player" and a person.

Agonising watching it back on MOTD and seeing Felli's chance again. It was even easier than I thought. Decided the game

Darren Gibson simply has to be in the team. We fall apart without him which was evident at Villa and again today

Odjiwinje might be the perfect replacement for Gibson.

I'd have Coleman against the 'lesser' sides at Goodison park at right back

Sounded dissapointing but not too concerned still confident that our home form is going to be very good this season and get some decent results away. West brom were just as confident going into the game as we were and a much more organised and settled team than Aston villa. Hopefully this kick up the back side will make us play better next time.

When the fixtures were released if you were to offer me 6pts from 1st 3 games would have grabbed them off you however it's always going to be frustrating to lose your good start.

RE: Everton VS West Brom Match Thread 1-9-12
Looks like sense is pre vailing but same concerns remain, will we ever play our A squad (as we see it) or must we persist with some of the deadwood?

"During my time at Everton, Goodison Park came to feel like a second home, with the supporters of the club, and the people of the city becoming a second family to me. If you were to take Everton out of the City, I firmly believe the club could no longer call itself the ‘People’s Club’ and I give my whole-hearted support to the campaign to keep Everton in the City" - Duncan Ferguson
"My aim is to be an academy coach at Everton." - Joe Parkinson
