Will we miss Cahill?
Do you think we will miss Cahill from a footballing perspective next season?
I know he did a lot of work roughing up other players and so on. But he couldn't pass, shoot from outside the box, cross, dribble, tackle etc and his first touch wasn't great. |

RE: Will we miss Cahill?
in the dressing room yes, as a motvator on the pitch yes, ability wise not as much but overall I think he will be missed pretty certain when we changed the 4-4-2 after 03/04 to adapt to him that will be kept the same. will see osman/naismith playing in behind jelavic with pienaar on the left.

RE: Will we miss Cahill?
He's just won a penalty which NY scored after only 7minutes of his debut against spurs.

One thing about Cahill, he never failed to "put them under", somethin' a certain someone won't do if they're 5yds or more away from him. Also, Cahill would run for a ball, a certain someone'll just trot then skip then throw his head & arms up to the heavens instead of makin' a concerted effort. We won't miss the Cahill of the last two seasons, which is the brutal truth. We miss the Cahill from '05-'10. The other someone'll NEVER be thought of in the same way as him when it's time for them to go (again). They proved that last time. We didn't miss him then. rat kopite -> <-MeJUSTICE FOR EDDIE GILFOYLE!! http://eddiegilfoylesupport.com/the%20ca...foyle).pdf |

RE: Will we miss Cahill?
No not really I was his strongest critic of him. Wasn't a striker but wasn't a midfielder either.
Hopefully our play will change now and Barkley is even the chance to play behind Jelly. with Peanuts on the left and Naismith on the right as a inside forward Barkley's vision will shine. if we can keep hold of Fellaini Rodwell and Gibson add in Lundstrum (who looks the business) we have a very strong side. I really feel that after winning the reserves league and the under 18's leagues last season that Moyes really needs to bring the kids in and out of the team. “Okay you c**ts. Lets see what you can do now.” HIT GIRL |

His first season was as good as any I can remember but I suppose that's youthful exuberance. I think we'll miss his heading ability (both ends) but apart from that footballing wise I'm quite happy he's gone as it will allow Barkley to step up. Note: I mentioned Barkley & not Rodwell because Jack's decision making sometimes are piss poor. Not sure if anyone watched us in the Senior Cup final vs. Tranmere but he played a blind cross pass, in the 90th minute might I add, and Andy f***ing Robinson went on to score. Back to Cahill though, he's been a great ambassador for the club & always will be my favourite. |

RE: Will we miss Cahill?
Speaking of the seniors cup, anyone see what Jose Baxter was writing on twitter? Started of by Congratulating James Wallace (former everton trainee just moved to tranmere) on winning then went on to say: "just goes to show. Teams treat their players bad and then they leave and come back to absolutely run the game against there best talent????!! Hhaaaa"
No Jose, you and Wallace just weren't good enough! Wallace never said anything bad on twitter about it btw but he's getting slagged off now by some blues!
