ryan none of these are playing regually you need players that play for their clubs,we will be a same par football team as norwaY AND SWEDEN until we play english players in our teams.henderson milner and a few others should have not gone because they had hardly no playing time with their clubs

exactly, no-one knew who AOC was 2 years ago, and he was in the squad and started a game. I think we've got some good talent coming through to be a stronger proposition in 2014. I think we've got the right manager too

Believe it or not, I think we missed Barry. He would've played with Parker and G*rrard in MF allowing G*rrard to move up the field. Woy made a big mistake in taking players like Henderson, Downing and Young who aren't good enough at this level. Rooney shouldn't be an automatic choice any more as he can't hack it at int'l level. I still think Glen Hoddle should be called back as Woy is a tactical dinosaur. It won't happen but I can hope.

And for how long's that gone on? from walcott to beckham, it's always been about the "new kid" and they've produced f***-all.

Adam johnson deserved to go before a good few of that squad, and was overlooked. FAFS who in their right mind'd pick henderson, downing, and carroll before some of the others who got left behind.

Now it's time to get shut of some of the "old guard".
