RE: England squad
half the england players have not had a full season in the premier league,I hope WOY knows whats he is doing, its the worst england squad that I have ever known but then the pressure is off of us to do good,It will be a miracle to come out of the group.
Nigel the octopus says we lose all 3 games in the group but what does he know.

If they're lucky. If Baines & Jagielka play, england'll murder 'em. Silly

RE: England squad
I can see us drawing with the frogs and swedes and then scraping a win against the ukranians.

That'll be about right, that. SSig_agreed Ukraine vs france might be the key game for england.

RE: England squad
great result yesterday, really impressed by the performance too. We look capable of giving better teams than us a really good game. Really need to beat the Swedes now to make sure we're not left needed a win against Ukraine to qualify.

Welbeck was absolutely immense I thought, he was everywhere, never stopped running, when we can pair him with Rooney we'll have a potent strike force

Not so sure about the "giving better teams than us a really good game" part, but they did ok. There's still signs they might crumble like they did against the boxheads in the world cup. France didn't really step up a gear, with benzema makin' saha's shows for us look positively hyperactive.

I seem to have been a bit hasty regardin' oxlade, the boy did rather well yesterday. Does he deserve his place ahead of adam johnson though? I still don't think so - but then again downing definitley doesn't deserve a place before either O-C or johnson.
