RE: England squad
precisely ryan none of them have had full season why woy has not had players with good form and played all season osman should be there.
Like I would not have rodwell or barkley there because of time off from season
Gerard and carroll but the rest I woulod not touch.
Until we go to 4 foriegners rule in each team so our youth players get a chance we can kiss the world cup and europe championship goodbye

RE: England squad
Add oxlade-chamberlin to that list. What's he done?

Kelly's the shite's best young player imo, but international class? Maybe in 3-4years time - but certainly not at the moment.

By all means, draft in the younger ones (o-c, welbeck, kelly etc) after the tournament.

Woy's still got hopes of going back to the sh*t-house across the park. Now the kopouts will love him.

RE: England squad
well G*rrard's there cos he's still quality, he showed that against us at their place. The other 5 though f*** knows. Its a combination of poor initial squad selection, injuries and players throwing their toys out of the pram at not being initially selected and refusing to play. I'm sure Carrick and Richards would have been the replacements if they hadn't refused

Its the worst England squad I can remember but there does seem to be a real team spirit which has always been painfully lacking.

Christ on a stick F_doh moyes' shithouse tactics made him look like barcelona on his own.

He's nowhere near the player he was 3-4 years ago. Nowhere near. I'd certainly be lookin' for his replacement after the euro's.

He's not no, but he's still easily better than what we've got

RE: England squad
Hold up.

You said "he showed his quality against us at their place". That's not entirely correct. We GAVE him the opportunity. If moyes'd had the bollocks to set the team up to have a go, and we'd kept him quiet, would you be sayin' the same thing?

As things go, he's worth his place in the set-up. But not for much longer.

Moyes's team selection had nothing to do with individual performances. He single handedly ripped us to shreds. And yes I would be saying the same if it hadn't happened. I thought he was finished at this level but since he came back from injury his performances have been the best of any English central midfielder (apart from Scholes maybe who's retired from international football). I agree he shouldn't be there much longer, he'll be seriously getting on a bit by the time of the next world cup so we need to try and find some younger players to replace him, unfortunately all we can come up with at the moment is Jordan Henderson. You never know maybe Barkley could be heavily involved with England in 2 years time.

To be honest I'm not sure what we're discussing as it seems we both agree he deserves to be in that squad!

RE: England squad
Woy has made several selection errors, but to be honest whichever players he picked, it wouldnt make a shred of difference.

You cant polish a turd that is the england team.

The players are technically and mentally inferior to the teams who will be at the business end of the tournament.

It will be a massive acheivement to even get through the group stage.

If france have got their heads right, they should beat us comfortably. Sweden are always difficult for us and Ukraine will want to make an impression in their home tournament.

Totally agree about Osman, he is so much better than Henderson. Im gobsmacked the RS trio of Downing, Henderson and Caroll have made it into the England Squad.

It shows how far English football has fallen.
