RE: Everton VS Wolves Match Thread 6-5-12
(05-04-2012 01:58 PM)OJL Wrote: For us to have a load of players including Arteta leave in the summer and not replace them whilst others strengthened and still finish 7th is a great achievement. Do you really think with the resources we've got we should have finished above Chelsea? Oh yeah, great indeed. 6pts handed over to the shite - as well as a cup final place......All before a ball was kicked. "I'm bringin' a fart to a sh*t-fight" Just doesn't cut it. Points dropped against worse than shite (AGAIN) We were headin' for the lowest goals per season tally before Jelavic arrived. We only got him because rangers are in the same sort of shite we'll be in, if the status quo continues. We've brought back a former player on loan, and we're probably payin' him more than the money we originally steadfastly refused to (and rightly so) Where's the sense in buyin' him back & payin' him what he's gettin from the yids (Which is quite possibly more than what we were offerin'?) I doubt very much we'll be signing him, come the close season. We've had a second cameo appearance from a player we should've signed first time around. Will we have to turn to a third cameo appearance, to get ourselves a kick-start to YET ANOTHER shite start to the season? It's not so much to do with the money as the players moyes had at his disposal. Are newcastle really 13pts better than us, with their squad? I don't believe so. But they're ahead of chelsea, aren't they? Would we have needed to spend what newcastle have, to finish with the amount of points they're on now? No. But seeing as you mentioned finances/resources........There's no Bellefield to sell next season. No arteta, no beckford, no pienaar & no yakubu (Another pearl of wisdom, gettin' rid of him for a pittance, and leavin' us with the laziest ****** on the planet, virtually unchallenged for his startin' place) Season tickets will no doubt be down, as will Tv revenue. But hey? We'll have a new kit manufacturer, so hopefully everybody'll buy one, and we'll solve all our problems that way )So, bearin' that in mind, with another shite start to the season, do you think sales of half-season tickets (Another embarrassment imo) will suddenly go through the roof, with fans safe in the knowledge that our season takes shape in January? Nay, lad. Evertonians are gettin' rightly pissed off with the same shite time after time. The symbiotic relationship of manager & (so-called) chairman is bein' carefully scrutinised by an evermore increasin' number of newly vigilant & increasingly sceptical Evertonians; many of them will will be adopting a "wait & see" approach in the close season. And who could blame them? As I asked, would we need to spend as much as the skunks have, to get the amount of points they have NOW come the end of the season? No, we wouldn't. So please don't give me the same old shite about bein' skint. It's beyond tiresome. They don't even allow themselves to be seen to be doin' somethin'. rat kopite -> <-MeJUSTICE FOR EDDIE GILFOYLE!! http://eddiegilfoylesupport.com/the%20ca...foyle).pdf |
