Duncan Ferguson interview
Did anyone see this before the Man U match?
Claimed to be shy - his reason for not doing post match interviews. Fancy him as a first team coach with Weir - possibly assistant manager in the future? You may laugh but future manager even? Scottish, tough, should be forward thinking - thoughts? |

Had his faults - and of course many strengths, on his day he was one of the best players in the league.
Just watched the interview. There is no doubting how much we mean to him, you can see it in his eyes. He is one of us. And he was right - they did have a difficult game today. Brilliant to hear him say he called time on his career early as he wanted to remember himself as an Everton player and end his career here. This goal and game will live with me forever.
