MBIB mate, what have you got against Pienaar? Every Evertonian knows that he's a mercenary but you can't deny the fact that the boy is top class.

Drenthe has the ability to be match-winner but his defensive frailties leave far too much to be desired - I'm with you on that one.

Can you really see us paying the moolah for AJ? We don't have a pot to piss in when it comes to a transfer budget.

Do we really need Albrighton? Good player that lad but again, can't see Villa parting with him unless they get relegated. Jarvis & Kightly are great shouts as Wolves look certain to go down.

Would like to see us go for Hoilett. Genuine pace & good work ethic.

I don't rate pienaar as highly as most - and his underhand connivin' has lowered my estimation of him. I've ALWAYS said pienaar's not a 1/4 of the player without Baines. Besides, he'll want more or lessthe same whack he's gettin' offa spurs - he wasn't worth it 1st time around, he isn't now. Just because he's back and we're doin a bit better with him (temporarily) doesn't mean he should have his wishes granted. Take him for the original amount he was offered before he done the frank bough - but not a cent more.

As for the others, firstly johnson is only a peripheral player for schittteh - sure, he'd cost the majority (if not every penny we got) of any fee we'd get for Rodwell. If mankineh rated him, then he'd play him more often. He's the best winger around imo.

I'm not sure big 'eck'll have much of a transfer pot, regardless of survival. Lerner wouldn't give o'neill any dough - why will he give McCleish any? That might mean he has to sell before he can buy - albrighton's their best asset imo (closely followed by bannan, but he's not what we need imo) As a winger, he's most definitely what we need.

Not sure about hoilett. Got a feelin' he's a flash-in-the-pan.
