RE: 13th and sliding.
And all of them have consistently performed worse than us in the league. Im glad you think we should be compared to championship/ relegation fodder. How many of those teams kept the manager or have they all been sacked due to poor league performance or not getting promoted

Hold up!

Just WHERE did I say I was glad we should be compared with relegation fodder? What have I said, that makes you think I'm GLAD to be compared to those clubs? They were used as yardsticks to measure moyes by, but once again you've failed in your attempt to twist the point I've made. Old habits.........

The point being that moyes has won f***-all, and other managers of lesser clubs have got the same record (or better) than moyes. And yet, none of those managers have had the benefit of the time given to moyes. How many of those managers DESERVED to be subsequently sacked? Those clubs I mentioned are in their rightful place. i.e. below us. But even portsmouth can make a cup-final........and when they were in administration ffs.

And when did cardiff spend £9m or £15m on a single player? Or notlob? Or millwall? Blackburn - who won as trophy - have had a lower net spend than us since the PL inception. How much did sparkeh spend to win a trophy? Did he spend £24m on two players? Did he spend £15m on one? I don't think he did - did he?

'Nothing to twist there - so why even attempt it? Have you got some sort of fetish about makin' a total gobshite of yourself?

Given the choice this season, of either finishing top 6, or winnin' the FA cup, I'm certain I know what just about every Evertonian would take. The only league position that really counts is 1st.

RE: 13th and sliding.
Well you brought up a few championship clubs to compare to - ok we'll leave out your comparisons then who aren't in the championship or
In a relegation battle that leaves.........

f*** all.
Anyone one of those clubs would swap premiership ( or premiership survival) for a final or a trophy.

RE: 13th and sliding.
Yeah, and you'll notice I made mention that that every one of those clubs I mentioned are smaller than ours, and are in their rightful place.

But they've all had managers who (despite not having almost 8 years in the job) have matched (Or bettered) moyes' cup record. This, despite not having any money (£15m for instance)

And despite also being "selling" clubs, with limited budgets, smaller fanbases etc.

PL survival might be a dream for those clubs..........it's most definitely not anywhere near good enough for a club of our stature.

RE: 13th and sliding.
Ok in one section of the job they've outperformed. But in the one that matters, the biggest prize in football in terms of money, the premiership they have failed.

No, they haven't had the time moyes has. That's a major factor. They've had as many- if not more constraints, relatively, too.

If 17th's good enough for other managers or clubs (according to your reasoning) but not us, why wasn't moyes sacked?

Simple - Because you're openly content with us being "also rans".
