RE: 2011/12 season predictions
I don't see why we can't Ryan. OK, we've not improved the squad, but its not been weakend either. This squad finished last season with one of the best form records in the League. None of the teams below us in last season table have particularly strengthed - OK teams like Sunderland have bought more than a few players but are the likes of Brown and O'Shea going to make them better than us?

If we can get away from our usual slow start and some of the players have a lot to prove after last season (Arteta and Rodwell for example), then 7th place should be a realistic minimum.

It's only a matter of time before we collapse though. We will struggle to score goals because of a chronic lack of width to create and a pedestrian pace through the team.

I agree that the lack of natural width from midfield could be a problem, so you try to find a formation to play to our strong areas, namely Baines and Coleman as attacking full backs.

A 4-2-3-1 formation would allow one of the 2 to fill in when the full backs attack so that we're not caught short at the back.

Gueye, when fit, does give us the option of pace and width if Moyes gives him a go this year. He looked good in pre-season, and seems to know how to score himself.

All I know is, we'll never win the f***ing league ever again with BK and his gang in charge.
