SSig_agreed Moyes in general just likes using the youngsters sparingly so that they get the experience under their belt. He's tried the same with Vaughan only for the injuries to curtail it all.

I'd like to add that i don't think Donovan is the answer to the issue either, too old, although Coleman could do with someone to give him the advice of how to play whichever position properly.

A few have said neville's been the key behind Coleman's "success" in RW position. I disagree. Also he needs advice on the defensive part of his game,Hibbert's the man for that imo,as he's played there a lot longer than neville (who's been the main utility player - for us and united)

I agree that Hibbert is probably a better defender, but the experience Neville can offer to someone like Coleman is very useful as well. Thinking of the players he has played with over the years, he surely has some tips to hand out.

Oh,don't get me wrong, neville's experience is not something to be sniffed at,but you learn through playing, and I believe shameless'd learn more about being a RB more from having Hibbert behind him, rather than neville.

He'd have more freedom definitely, Hibbert is slated by some people but i rate him highly as an actual old-school full back. Ironically everyone is currently on the back of Johnson saying he's not good enough defensively, and he's Enland's number 1!

I've deleted "The b******"s post from this thread. This thread is totally fine, no personal attacks or anything, and that post would have only stirred things up.

I rate Coleman very highly, he's not gaining much defensive experience playing RW though

I would give him another Jan loan move. With Vic coming back and possibly Mr Touchdown returning i cant see him playing much with Hibbo/Neville in the right back slots

RE: Seamus
Coleman should definatly be starting, Moyes' choice to start Billy over him on Wednesday was another example of Moyes' often negative selection policy, up untill wendesday hed been playing well and hed come off the back of a good performance and a goal against blackpool and then gets dropped.

Whats that gonna do for his confidence??

Moyes has already said that he's not the answer at RM

Billy is never going to get any better until he has a run in the team. Coleman isnt exactly ripping up trees
