39th Premier league game abroad
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football...163015.stm
One of the american gobshites from across the park have chirped up and brought this up again about playing a 39th premier league game overseas somewhere. I for one, hate this idea and it was rightly binned the last time it was suggested but now this bollocks is trying to stoke the fire again and bring it back from the dead!

RE: 39th Premier league game abroad
I don't know how anyone can be for it. There's so much wrong with the idea its untrue. A 39th game ruins the integrity and fairness of our league, plus its OUR league, ENGLISH. We are not American and clearly Henry doesnt understand English football fans and how different we are from Americans. Its an early sign for me this takeover may go belly up because he clearly doesn't understand.

However, the idea itself is just flawed, and how could it work? After the well known teams have played their games (Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool) who in America/Asia is seriously going to be interested in the lesser known sides, such as Wolves, Birmingham and Stoke. Just another idea for fat cats to make more money. "Everton are a bigger club than Liverpool. Everywhere you go on Merseyside you bump into Everton supporters." |

YES, if it makes us a lot of money. But NO, if not. And who would the 39th game be against....
