corners, free kicks and pens
Arteta used to be a set piece magician, but he's not the same these days and his corners and free kicks are sh*t.
Fact is, he doesn't create ANYTHING anymore, no goals etc. It's because he plays deep in a central role but if he played higher up and could play more forward passes through then he'd get at least some assists, let Heitinga / Fellaini mop up and pass sidewards. Arteta used to be one of the top creators in the league, In 2006/7 he scored 9 goals and got 12 assists, says it all really. No assists so far this season, but at least he is scoring more goals, 6 last season in 13 games and a couple this season already. So who takes the set pieces? Pens - Arteta (don't think he's ever missed, but neither as Baines) Free Kicks - Baines or Arteta depending on position Corners - Baines first with Arteta on the edge of the box. He's scored 2 from the edge this season already Agree? |

Corners and free kicks should be baines or peanuts, possible Saha. Arteta has many skills but his corners are shite. I'd prefer him lurking on the edge of the box for a shot if the ball comes out

Hibbert on the next penalty we get when we're winning comfortably is going to have to happen, surely the Everton boys realise that. The place would erupt.

HIBBERT will never score. He doesn't even go up for set pieces etc.

i didnt go to spurs but thought when that ball came to hibbo late on he was going to score that long range effort but he just couldnt find the swerve he needed!
