5 - Howard - Made a good save from VDV at the start but the punch was completely uncalled for and cost us the three points today.

5 - Neville - Didn't have a great deal to do.

7 - Distin - His composure today was immense (something Jags could learn!) but his ability to deal with the first phase almost cost us a goal (something he could learn from Jags!).

8 - Jagielka - Made a splendid double tackle in the first half and did a job on Crouch. Everything you want from your centre-back! Better distribution as well today. MoM.

8 - Baines - The goal itself deserves an 8! Got in some promising positions but final ball just wasn't good enough.

4 - Heitinga - I've given him a 4 simply for that tackle on VDV and telling him to get the f*** back up. Everything else was shite. A player with no confidence which brings me on to...

1 - Bilyaletdinov - The sooner Baxter and Barkley mature the better because I actually rate them a lot higher than Billy. Complete and utter shite.

8 - Pienaar - Ran the show but you could tell he was short of match fitness. Towards the end he let two perfectly legitimate balls by Hibbo and Saha go. Take nothing from his performance though because Palacios and Sandro were over him like a rash.

6 - Coleman - Dived in a bit but I can't fault the lad seen as Bale is f***ing class.

7 - Cahill - A role model to how pros should perform week in week out. Had a cracker of a shot which sailed just a tad wide past Gomes.

7 - Yakubu - Got the free-kick which led to the goal and almost did a 'Meireles-esque-barge' on Assou-Ekotto. Only a matter of time before he opens his account for the year.

thinking about it I've been a bit harsh on Neville, to keep Bale so quiet is quite an achievement and he deserves some merit for it, I change his 6 to a 7

Howard - 3 Had very little to do considering Spurs dominated and still managed to lose us 2 points
Neville - 5 woeful distribution, gave him 5 because he did ok on Bale (who's knackered)
Jags - 8 Brilliant, didn't put a foot wrong, ruined Crotch's day
Distin - 6 lucky his couple of mistakes weren't punished
Baines - 7 World-class free-kick, didn't close down the cross for the goal amongst others
Coleman - 6 Quiet today, still finding his feet
Heitinga - 4 I hate this prick, fouled his way through the match, positioning is suspect, definitely not a defensive midfielder, decent centre-half, was exposed for how bad he is in midfield when Neville was switched to defensive midfield - even he made Heitinga look bad
Pienaar - 6 Don't understand what all the fuss is about, bit of a headless chicken at times
Bily - 5 Very quiet, linked up well the odd time
Cahill - 7 Played well, is a nuisance to opposing centre-halves
Yak - 7 Lead the line well, getting back to his best, needs a goal

Saha - Obviously not fit, putting him on ahead of Beckford was ridiculous
Beckford - Needs more game-time
Hibbo - Did nothing wrong

Howard - 1 sh*t but we all know that

Neville - 8 kept Bale so quite Arry moved him across to the other side and took lennon off.

Distain - 6 nearly cost us a goal but was ok

Jags - 8 worldclass top blocks and coming out with ball was outstanding we will struggle to keep hold off him when the top European teams take notice.I would say that he is one of the best in the world at the moment nothing beats him.

Baines - 7 good against lennon and hates playing we bily, he was complaining to Moyes during the match and told bily he was a daft c*nt to lol.(whilst trying to take a throw)

Coleman - 6 wasn't at his best.

Hietinga - 0 sh*t get rid in jan and let Fellaini and rodwell battle for the place in the side. with the money we get for him we could bring a right midfielder.

Pienaar - 1 doesn't want to play for us and he only gets a 1 for the bloke in the last couple of minutes.

Bily - 5 he has class but maybe he would better suited in spain or italy where the game is slower.

Cahill - 6.5 I felt sorry for him as he was giving there back 2 a hard time but had to keep coming back to fill in the midfield because pienaar and hietinga were so poor.

Yak - 6 again his game was hampered by JH and SP ,Cahill couldn't give him the support he needs up top so was up there by him self. looks like he has been training and has lost his fat and put muscle on the ref was way to protective of there back two and every time yak roughed them up he was ready to blow up.

Mike Jones Ref - 8 works with my Wife and we have not lost a game when he has been a official.
