RE: Our sources: Rooney off to Real Madrid - EVERTON GETTING NO CUT OF PROFIT??
First of all when Saha signed for us Rooney was probably worth around the same as Ronaldo or just a little bit less say £65 million which means that at the time utd valued Saha at £16.25 million now called me a Moyes lover or what ever but there is no way in hell that he would have taken that deal. the Deal for Saha was undisclosed which means we did pay for him at the time it was reported to be around £2.5 million.

Secondly as I understand it a sell on clause runs for the whole of the period a player is at the club.If you think about it Rooney was 17 when he signed for Utd and again you can say what you like about Everton be there is no way that it was a weak deal for the kid. i can only think of a couple of players that have stayed at one club there whole career and they started at that club. there was always a chance that Rooney would leave the club.

For me City will pay top dollar for him in January £60 plus million which will be great for us however Real Madrid and Barca with maybe AC or Inter Milan will be in the running. with 18 months on his contact utd will force the sale through. i can not however see him leaving on the cheap.

If he leaves for £60 million which has been reported we will get £15 million which i would rather see spend on a player like Eden Hazard or Douglas Costa. I would not pay over £5 million for Donovan however much I like him as he turns 30 soon and it isn't a long term investment for a club with little money.

“Okay you c**ts. Lets see what you can do now.” HIT GIRL

We didn't pay anything upfront for Saha but made payments based on appearances. Probably worked out alright

Will do. It was someone I know who claimed to know the family. I didn't believe it either but it was worth a thread.

The little t*** has signed for United.F_doh
Fagged out of the death threats.

HOW THE f*** HAS HE JUST SIGNED A NEW CONTRACT A DAY AFTER SAYING HE IS LEAVING!!!! How anyone can be so fickle. Hope he is seen for what he is now... going one minute and next not. He won't be trusted again.

We've just lost out on a f***ing fortune. Thanks Wayne

He might have signed a new contract because Man Utd have said they will sell him next summer to the right bidder but want a fair price and in exchange the give him a lot more money. Or he may have used it as a threat to get a much better deal. He said on MUTV that he told his agent to discuss a new deal yesterday before he as much as admitted he was on his way out.

It was only 2 days ago you were saying how much you'd want him back at everton but now your having a go at him...gotta love the irony.

I don't see why rooney signing a new contract with united should mean we lose out on the sell on fee. Surely that fee was put in the initial agreement between everton and united regardless of how many new contracts rooney signs for united? I don't see why it should have an expiry date, it should last right up until he's sold by united

I'm assuming that the sell on clause hasnt expired. Still havent seen it confirmed but didn't we have to give Wolves money for the profit we made on that tw*t Cesspott. I don't see why it would be different.

They wouldn't be able to,if there was a ruling,or if all clubs agree to it.
