The source, to the family (genuine), says Rooney told relatives him to buy a United season ticket and to get a madrid one.

Also, when we signed Saha, apparently the 25% profit from Rooney was waived so if true we won't get a peny.
Also been told Donovan will be on a permanent deal.

(This isn't 100% obviously but it's what I've been told from someone who claims to be close to Coleen's family).

I heard the same thing, this was a few days after we signed saha, from someone who's fairly accurate with news like that. I think I mentioned this the other day.

I too, haven't read or heard anything from either club that says were definitely gonna receive a bunce from any sale. (Haven't looked Tongue )

And where's the moolah coming from for landin' donovan? (See what I did there?)

I think there's an agreement between Premier League managers not to exploit this rule

yeah, a verbal agreement like we had with gosling

Our sources are usually bang on! we reported the Arteta, Gueye, Beckford etc signings accurately etc.. however unfortunately even I saw this as too far fetched for the main site so don't shoot the messenger

i wouldn't be surprised if the United-Saha-Rooney thing was true knowing us!

LD will definately be arriving if the money from Rooney IS coming.

Remember it's a quarter of anything they get over £25mil - and he's in the last 20 odd months of his contract. There's no way they get anything like £50mil for him on that length o contract but I'd they do it's only(!) £6mil.

RE: Our sources: Rooney off to Real Madrid - EVERTON GETTING NO CUT OF PROFIT??
Some mush on talksport just now has come up with a marvellous solution to restore the balance of players not honouring contracts.

Say a player is given a 4year £50k week contract. In the first year,he's paid £20k,second £40k,third £60,last year £80k.

Now,if that player is offered a better contract elsewhere (E.G. £100k per week) before his current contract runs out, then he has to start at the lower rate scale,so then he would (in his first year of his new contract) get to start again,on the bottom rung of whatever the new contract pays him.

Of course, all clubs would have to agree to this,in order for it to be effective. Nonetheless, imo it's a fantastic idea.

The only thing wrong with that is the players would somehow manufacture a way where they start of on 100k increasing every year. It's plain and simple, bring in a salary cap and that solves it
